home made tahini 


1 cup sesame seeds (Ruddy bulk section)

2 tbsp olive oil or grapeseed oil

a bit of salt (optional)


toast the sesame seeds in the oven

grind in a food processor until the mixture forms a crumbly paste

add oil and process for 1 to 2 minutes, until a smooth paste forms (add more oil to get desired consistency)

add salt to taste

Store in a sealed container in your fridge for a month.
