BLACK BEAN VEGGIE BURGERS

Ingredients:

  • 1 can organic black beans
  • 1 cup sweet potatoes, shredded
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup red onion
  • 1/4 cup spelt flour
  • 2 tablespoons tamari
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon cumin

Directions:

  1. Place beans in a bowl and mash. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Scoop 1/3 cup of batter at a time to form burger patties.
  3. Place burgers on a baking sheet (you may need two)
  4. Bake in oven on 350 F for approx 45 minutes.
  5. Serve with sprouted buns or a salad and enjoy!
